As we approach yet another back-to-school season I thought it was a great opportunity for me to talk about the benefits of hiring a professional photographer to capture this very special milestone in every child’s life.
I have three kids in three different schools now and I know exactly how overwhelming this time of year can be. Tackling the school shopping lists, refreshing the wardrobes and trying to take advantage of what’s left of the summer can be a lot.

5 REASONS WHY HAVE A PROFESSIONAL BACK TO SCHOOL PHOTO SESSION by Zuza M Photography:
1. Convenience. I am an on locations photographer. I come to your home/backyard/garage which makes the whole process easier for you. You don’t have to go anywhere, you don’t have to pack up clothes for your children to change into and because you are present during a photo session, you can fix the hair or adjust anything if there’s a need.
2. Comfort. Kids feel most at ease in familiar surroundings. Having their portrait taken is suppose to be fun. Being comfortable and feeling safe is crucial in achieving natural and honest expressions. Sessions with me are not rushed. I make sure to connect with every child and I have a few tricks in my bag to get those genuine expressions to come out.

3. Sibling photos. If like me, you have children in different schools, you know that a photo of all of them together is not possible. By having a session at your place it is super easy to include all the siblings in a frame.
4. Multiple poses. Unlike traditional school photos where you have 2 stiff poses to choose from, I strive to get a good variety of genuine expressions to capture true personality of every child.
5. Ease of ordering. After the session, every family gets access to a private online album from which prints and digital files can be purchased. You order what you like, from one photo to the whole gallery. It’s all up to you.
